The email that affiliates are sent can be customized to your site.
The initial email message for new affiliates can be edited under Commerce Affiliate Program Settings
Enter the email message in the 'New Affiliate eMail Message' box
The variables for first/last names, affiliate ID and password can be added into the email using these tags:

#lastname#
#MGaffID#
#password#
#affiliateID#
