reCAPTCHA is a free service from Google, which provides an advanced defense system to protect against bots and spammers from abusing your site.
It provides a simple system to help identify when a form is being submitted by a human, and is therefore allowed to pass, or if it is being submitted by a bot and should be blocked.
When you enable reCAPTCHA on your site, it will automatically be added to forms such as the Contact Form, the Affiliate Sign Up Form, and other forms that could previously have been abused by bots.
