MemberGate subscription forms (both paid and free) include a value that asks potential members if they wish to receive e-mail alerts.
If a member opts out of receiving the email alerts, this will not effect your autoresponder service (like AWeber). Instead, the member will simply not receive any emails such as forum notifications or email messages sent using the "Send Email" function or within your site's Control Panel.
